Jean-Marc Pilorget honoured

News

The former defender and record holder for the number of matches played in a Paris Saint-Germain shirt (435 official matches between 1975 and 1989) watched the capital club's 3-1 victory over RC Lens in Ligue 1 Round 31 action at the Parc des Princes on Saturday 15 April.

The Paris native, who won the Coupe de France in 1982 and 1983 before being crowned French champion in 1986 - the first major titles in the history of the capital club - took part in the pre-match live broadcast and received a trophy to commemorate his record from the hands of President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. He also crossed paths with Marquinhos and Marco Verratti (his two main pursuers on the club's all-time appearances chart) for a photo that carried a lot of weight... 1245 matches in Les Rouge et Bleu among them (401 for the Brazilian, 409 for the Italian)!

After meeting another club legend, Bernard Lama, who was also present at Porte d'Auteuil on Saturday, the former Olympic France international kicked off the game before watching the Parisians' victory.
