Cristiano, the most Parisian of Cariocas

News

Although he was born more than 6,000 kilometres from the Parc des Princes, Cristiano - who runs the Rio de Janeiro Fan Club - fell in love with the capital club: "Paris has a connection with Brazilians".

From Raí to Lucas Beraldo, Cristiano knows everything there is to know about the history between Paris and Brazil. "Many Brazilian players have played there, so it quickly caught my attention."

THE CREATION OF THE RIO DE JANEIRO PSG FAN CLUB

"When Neymar Jr arrived at Paris Saint-Germain, we became really passionate. An idea came to me: I'm going to set up a Paris Saint-Germain Fan Club. I contacted the club, and the ball was rolling. I created pages on social networks, which grew and grew. It went from there, everything went very well, the fan club was created. We organise Fan Club meetings to watch the matches in a bar or at home."

LEGENDS AND THE NEXT GENERATION

"Paris Saint-Germain attracts a lot of Brazilians, I think it started back in the days of Raí. Ronaldinho and Nenê were also great players. Later, there was Thiago Silva, an exceptional defender, and finally Marquinhos, who has been there for years. As well as being the captain, he is a club legend. Now there's also Beraldo, the young defender from São Paulo. He's very young and has a lot of room to grow, he has everything going for him.

"I think the Brazilians who have been there have all had good times at Paris Saint-Germain. Everyone was well known in their position and that's why the Parisians liked them. You can see that there is this connection with Brazilian players."

A MATCH AT THE PARC DES PRinces

"I haven't seen a match in France yet. It's one of my dreams, and I intend to do it one day. Being able to get to the Parc des Princes to see a Paris Saint-Germain match is my goal."
