A truckload of French and international media waited resolutely for the Brazilian star before he was officially presented at the Parc des Princes. Interviews, photo shoots and meeting the fans, who had flocked to the Parisian arena to celebrate Neymar Jr's arrival. There were breathtaking scenes in front of the Rouge et Bleus' arena while, a few metres away, jerseys with Neymar Jr's name on the back were selling like hotcakes at the Megastore.

The new Parisian number 10 then moved on to the Ooredoo centre to meet his new teammates and take part in his first training session. It was a highly anticipated moment for everyone - and for none more so than the player himself, who declared in his first interview with PSG TV that he couldn't wait to start playing: "I'm very motivated; the club's ambitions are the same as mine, and I love big challenges. I'm ready to play and I want to contribute in any way I can. I jut want to get stuck into training and be ready as soon as possible."
