Draxler: 'I love playing at the Parc des Princes'

Julian, Paris have just lost two games in a row. What's the feeling in the squad?
"It was a difficult game at Strasbourg. We perhaps had our minds on the Bayern game already as it was coming up just afterwards. It's normal there are ups and downs in a season. Of course we're not happy to lose these two games, but we've finished top of the group in the Champions League - that's important for us - and we're still nine points clear in Ligue 1. Now we have to win at home to Lille. There are three games after that and our aim is to win them all."

What do you expect from the game against Lille?
"I don't know exactly how Lille are going to play on Saturday. For me, what's important is that we're playing at home. I love playing at the Parc des Princes: the atmosphere, the pitch...there's everything there to play well. If we play to our best, I'm certain we'll win the game."

Paris has had an exceptional start to the season with some incredible numbers, particularly going forward…
"It's true this year we have an opportunity to do some great things, but it's not done yet. We're just halfway through the season. We have to keep working, improving. With the team we have today, we can win trophies, but it's never easy and a lot of clubs in Europe have the same ambitions."

You've been playing left midfield for the last few games. How do you feel in that new position? "It's a bit different, but I also like this position and I have to improve in it. I also played in midfield during the Confederations Cup, so it's not too difficult for me. I'm playing with very talented played so it's easier. It's a good experience."
