Claudine, the Classico's special guest
Claudine took part in a Saint Valentine's Day competition run by the official Paris saint-Germain fanzine where she had to write a love letter to the club. Her entry found its way into the hands of PSG chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaïfi who was so moved by it, that he decided to invite the dedicate fan to the game - despite the fact that she lives next to... Marseille. This long-serving fan made the train trip up to the capital from the south of France, arriving in the early afternoon: "When I was 4 or 5, I was always playing football with my father," she said. "It was thanks to him that I loved the game. If I could have, I would have played, but girls didn't really play football back then... _I have always been a fan of Paris Saint-Germain, even when I moved down south, that didn't change."_
Paris Saint-Germain reserved the VIP treatment for Claudine: behind the scenes visit at the Parc des Princes, pitchside during the warm-up and a meeting with Chairman and CEO Nasser Al Khelaïfi, who presented her with a personalised jersey. A delighted Claudine then watched the Classico in the presidential stand before heading down to the tunnel to chat with the players after the game, including Kevin Trapp, Presnel Kimpembe and her favourite player Edinson Cavani. "I love all the players, but if I had to choose one, it would be Cavani," she smiled. "I never would have believed I'd ever meet the players. It's fantastic, I'm so happy."
