Paris Saint-Germain opens an official Dongqiudi account


Following the launch of Paris Saint-Germain official accounts on the two most popular Chinese social media platforms Weibo and WeChat in 2013, the Club is pursuing its strategic digital development by opening an official Dongqiudi account.

Also known through the world as “All Football”, the platform is the largest football media and online community app in China, with the biggest fan base and most influencers among Chinese football media.

Dongqiudi was created as a way for Chinese football fans to form communities and follow their favourite teams from around the world. Paris Saint-Germain is the first French club and one of the very first European clubs to open an official Dongqiudi account, expanding its digital scope of content by delivering the latest football news as well as supporting the development of Chinese football.

Paris Saint-Germain currently has more than 1.4 million fans in China, ranking 11th among all top European football clubs. China is an extremely important market for the Parisian club and has been identified as a top priority. The club has a very ambitious project in the most populated country in the world, and digital will be key in its strategy to interact with fans and deliver a unique and bespoke experience.
