Veszprém continue perfect start

Paris Saint-Germain Handball's future Velux EHF Champions League opponents Veszprém were in Hungarian league action on Tuesday night.  The 2016 European finalists claimed yet another win.

They were up against another club who had a perfect record going into the match, but round 8 proved to be the banana skin for Balatonfuredi, who fell at home to Ljubomir Vranjes' men, who took the lead early and carried a seven-goal advantage into the break (11-18).

In the second half, Dejan Manaskov (the game's top scorer with nine goals) and his teammates picked up where they had left off in the first and ran out big winners (25-39). The win leaves in sole control at the top of the K&H League standings ahead of their trip to the Stade Pierre de Coubertin for their Velux EHF Champions League Round 7 clash with Paris Saint-Germain Handball.

This huge clash between first and second in Group B will be broadcast live on beIN SPORTS, but there are still tickets left in the Parisian arena!
