Like an early final!
Just a week after France's 27-25 win in the Golden League in Rouen, the two sides met again for their first match of the Euro in a replay of the last world championship final. Courtesy of an excellent Nikola Karabatic, Les Experts were quickly in front (10’ : 6-4).

Luc continued his breath-taking second half by firing Les Bleus in front (58’ : 31-30). front. The defence then held firm as France recorded a thrilling 32-31 win.
It was a fiercely competitve match vetwebetween two sides that should go a lonlong way in the competition. Nedim Remili and his compatriots next play austria on Sunday while Sander will take on Belarus later the same day.
Nikola Karabatic: "We knew it was going to be a tough game. Norvway played very well but we are very strong and showed a great mentality. We never let our heads drop. Winning like this is great!".
Luc Abalo: "This was a great victory for the whole team. We really stuck together and we always knew we could win it. At the Euro, every match is important and we knew that winning here is good for the next games."
