Open to all children, boys and girls, aged between 10 and 17 years of age, the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Handball holiday camps are all about improving technique, but also about a young athlete having fun and learning the values of respect, cooperation and teamwork, so dear to the club.
A typical day of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Handball holiday camps includes:
- a morning training session, thematically based and adapted to the standard of the individual participants
- a team training in the afternoon
- two "match" evenings, including video analysis the following morning.
The young athletes will also learn about physical recovery and a balanced diet, essential to playing competitive Handball.
At the end of each camp, each athlete will receive an official Paris Saint-Germain Academy diploma from the coaching staff, as well as a report card of their performances throughout the week, highlighting the main points they need to continue to work on.
The Paris Saint-Germain Academy Handball training camps are taken by Nicolas Cochery, former France national team player and former Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach, and supervised by Thierry Perreux, Paris Saint-Germain technical coordinator, both of whom will pass on their experience and expertise to the youngsters, as well as transmit the club values.
Every camp includes an exceptional meeting with the players of the Paris Saint-Germain Handball team, either at a professional squad training session at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin, or during a preseason match of the Lidl Starligue.
The Paris Saint-Germain Handball camps are open to boys and girls aged between 10 and 17 years of age, irrespective of their standard.
