PSG and Gates Foundation relaunch global partnership to champion child health

The Club
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), through the PSG for Communities initiative has proudly reaffirmed its commitment to global child health in partnership with the Gates Foundation.

First launched in Paris in 2023 with a call to end polio, the partnership between Paris Saint-Germain and the Gates Foundation has now taken root in the Pacific Northwest. From June 22- June 23, events across Seattle united young athletes, legends, leadership from Paris Saint-Germain and the Gates Foundation around a simple but powerful message: every child deserves the opportunity to score their goals in life—healthy, supported and free from preventable diseases like polio.

Under the banner of “One Team,” Paris Saint-Germain brings the club’s global platform and network of star power in support of the Gates Foundation’s work to improve the health and inclusivity of children everywhere. Inspired by PSG for Communities’ One Team program — which delivers inclusive football sessions for both neurotypical children and children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) — PSG and the Gates Foundation hosted their first-ever joint clinic in Seattle, welcoming 150 young athletes from the greater Seattle and Vancouver areas.

This effort reminds us that sport is more than competition—it’s a platform for progress,” said Fabien Allègre, Chief Brand Officer of Paris Saint-Germain and Vice President of PSG for Communities. “The partnership between PSG for Communities and the Gates Foundation reflects our deep commitment to using sport to inspire hope, health, and opportunity for children everywhere.”

Daniel Green, Global Content and Campaigns Director of the Gates Foundation, echoed this sentiment: “Together with Paris Saint-Germain, we’re working toward a future where every child can live a healthy life and chase their dreams. Whether it's on a football pitch or in a classroom, no child should be held back by a preventable disease like polio.”

As the world tunes in for this new competition, Paris Saint-Germain’s presence in Seattle is not only athletic, but also aspirational. Through this new collaboration, PSG for Communities and the Gates Foundation continue to show that when it comes to helping and protecting the future of children, we are all One Team.
