Nesta: 'Paris are one of the biggest clubs in Europe'

Former Italy international and current coach of Miami FC, Alessandro Nesta, was on hand to watch Paris Saint-Germain training on Monday morning. 

It was the opportunity for the 2006 World Cup winner to catch up with former teammate and current Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva: "It's preseason for us here, so I took advantage of the occasion to come and watch Paris Saint-Germain training and meet with Unai Emery. It's also a pleasure to catch up with some old friends such as Thiago Silva and Thiago Motta."

The legendary defender also highlighted the ever-growing stature of the French club, including in North America: "Paris has become one of the biggest clubs in Europe, one of the best clubs with really great players. They are a really professional team, a different level to here in the USA, so it's fantastic to come and see these stars here."
