Uwe gets October gong

Voting for Paris Saint-Germain Handball's Player of the Month for October has closed… and it's Uwe Gensheimer who came out on top in the monthly award.

The German international finished with 36.3% of the vote, fending off Dylan Nahi (22.9), Mikkel Hansen (14.2%), Thierry Omeyer and Benoît Kounkoud (13.3%). A deserved honour who just spent another few weeks relentlessly hunting the oppositions' goals. He notably shot a 7 from 7 against Celje in the Velux EHF Champions League and an 8 from 8 away to Chambéry in the Lidl StarLigue's Round 6.

Uwe succeeds Thierry Omeyer, September's winner, and claims his first monthly award of the season. What's more, he looks likely to figure prominently in the November voting as well, after scoring ten against Dunkerque and shooting 5 from 7 against Kielce.
