Paris in Group B

On Friday evening, the draw for the Velux EHF Champions League 2017-2018 group stage was held in Ljubljana. Paris Saint-Germain Handball will do battle in Group B.

There the Rouge et Bleu will find old foes such as Veszprém. This will be Paris Saint-Germain Handball's fifth consecutive European campaign, and the fifth consecutive time they have been drawn in the same group as the Hungarians. It will also be the fourth time in four seasons that the capital club face off in the same group as THW Kiel.

Nikola Karabatic and co. will also be up against another German side in the form of Flensburg, whom the Rouge et Bleu beat twice last season, with Celje and Kielce (whom they face in the 2015-2016 campaign), as well as Meshkov Brest, also in the mix. The last time Paris played the Belarusian side dates back to 2014-2015 (with two wins for the Parisians). Finally, new capital club recruit Sander Sagosen won't have to wait long to take on his former team, as Aalborg fill the final slot on Group B.
