New Paris Saint-Germain Academy opens in Lebanon

Paris Saint-Germain has officially opened its new Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Lebanon directed by Elias Salameh. The roll-out of this new three-year project will also be supported by Jimmy Algerino, a former player and captain of Paris Saint-Germain.

From 1st July 2017, Lebanese boys and girls aged 7 to 16 will be able to take part in training sessions and soccer camps organised by the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Lebanon on three different sites:

  • E-club in Zouk Mikael
  • Fouad Chehab stadium in Jounieh
  • Beirut Football Academy pitches in Beirut

Fabien Allègre, Director of Merchandising and Brand Diversification of Paris Saint-Germain, declared: "We are delighted to set up a Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Lebanon and pass on our club's training methods and values to Lebanese youngsters. This is the third year-round Paris Saint-Germain Academy to open in the Middle East - after the openings of the Dubai Academy in August 2016 and the Cairo Academy in September 2016 - which allows the club to increase its presence in the region."

With these three new centres in Lebanon, the Paris Saint-Germain Academy now boasts 58 year-round centres in France, the United States, Canada, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Dubai, Morocco and Egypt.
